The short version
Kitre is an offline ebru marbling workshop simulation. It has no account system, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Everything you build in your atelier — your purse, your orders, your pattern book, every sheet on your drying line — stays stored locally on your device, inside the app's own sandboxed folder, and is never transmitted anywhere.
Data we collect
None. Kitre does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data, usage data or device identifiers, and it does not use any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software development kits. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no network requests of any kind — Kitre works entirely offline.
Camera and photo library
The Mount studio feature lets you frame a picture inside one of your marbled sheets. When you use it:
- You choose a picture with the system photo picker, or take one with the camera — either way, the picture never leaves your device.
- The framed image is shown on screen and, only if you tap Share or Save, handed to the system share sheet or saved to your photo library.
- Kitre never uploads, analyses or stores your pictures outside the app's own local documents folder.
Notifications
Kitre can schedule a single local "morning bell" notification, entirely on your device, to let you know new orders have arrived. This uses Apple's local notification framework only — no push service, no server, no data collected to schedule or deliver it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Data storage and retention
All app data (progress, purchases, settings, and sheets you have marbled) is stored locally using Apple's standard on-device storage. Deleting the app permanently deletes all of this data. Nothing is backed up to any server we operate, because we don't operate one.
Children's privacy
Kitre does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it collects no information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example if a future version of Kitre adds a feature that uses data differently — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above before the new version ships.
